Eneko Sanz is the oldest of three siblings, Aquarius with Libra ascendant and a dog owner. He is passionate about nature, movement patterns and human connections.

His journey began at the family gatherings in the Basque Country, where telling jokes after a good meal was the main entertainment. Little did he know about, how valuable it was going to be performing in front of that audience; without even noticing, he began to develop a sense for storytelling. Basically, because they were always the same jokes!

At the age of seven, he spent his first month abroad, away from family and friends, with a host family in Ireland. That experience made him understand that the world is a wide place, full of different people, languages and cultural peculiarities. And from there on, exploring them became his way of life.

After graduating from the German School of Bilbao – including a dance performance in honor of the BackStreetBoys on the stage of the graduation party – Eneko linked several professional training and internships related to communication in different destinations, like Vienna. In parallel, he subjected himself to a more demanding public as a street performer, juggling and clowning.

While studying advertising and public relations, he began his foray into declamation, poetry recitation and text theatre. Once he graduated, he packed his bags and moved to Berlin, determined to learn the basics of theatre acting.

A polyglot who speaks five languages, Eneko quickly made a name for himself, collaborating on an ongoing basis with multiple international groups, embracing every opportunity to learn from the diverse colleagues and disciplines, unafraid to take creative risks or step into unfamiliar territory.

Due to his natural curiosity and passion for storytelling and human connection, it was just a matter of time that he landed on other formats of the world of acting, like cinema, television and advertising, where he effortlessly keeps connecting with audiences and collaborators from all over the world.

Eneko’s exploration of the performing arts didn’t stop at acting. Eager to understand every facet of production, he dove into technical roles and behind-the-scenes work in the times where he didn’t work as an actor. These experiences ignited a passion for directing and producing, where he continues to bring his own visions to life.

Whether in front of the camera, on stage, or behind the scenes, Eneko is committed to experimenting, evolving, and inspiring through his craft.
